Here is tonight’s minor league roundup:

Buffalo 3, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 0 – Triple-A
● The Yankees managed just one hit against Buffalo pitchers Matt Ginter and Brian Slocum.
● C J.D. Closser was 1-for-3 with a double.
OF Brett Gardner went 0-for-2 but walked twice.

The Triple-A Yankees also completed last night’s game (suspended due to rain). LHP Heath Phillips (2-4) gave up a run in the bottom of the 10th as Scranton/Wilkes-Barre lost, 2-1.

Trenton 7, Portland 4 – Double-A
● RF Jose Tabata went 3-for-4 with an RBI.
● LF Colin Curtis hit his fifth home run of the season.
● CF Austin Jackson had one hit in four at bats.
● RHP Anthony Claggett pitched 3 2/3 shutout innings. Since being promoted from Tampa, Claggett has an ERA of 1.13.
● LHP Zachary Kroenke (4-0) picked up the win in relief. Kroenke went 1 2/3 innings, gave up no runs and struck out three.

Palm Beach 1, Tampa 0 – Class A Advanced
● RHP Ian Kennedy pitched five shutout innings. He allowed two hits and one walk. He struck out four.
● 3B Mitch Hilligoss went 0-for-2 but walked twice.

Charleston 4, Savannah 3 – Class A
● 3B Bradley Suttle went 2-for-4. He doubled and tripled.
C Jesus Montero went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
● SS Carmen Angelini was hitless in four at bats with three strikeouts.
● RHP Noel Castillo (7-4) pitched six effective innings. He allowed one run on three hits.

Hudson Valley 3, Staten Island 1 – Class A Short-Season
3B Michael Lyon was 2-for-3 with an RBI. The former Northeastern Husky is hitting .320.
● RHP Luke Grinke threw five innings of one-hit, shutout ball.
